ALLANTRA LEWIS
Poet, Playwright, Actress, & Humanitarian

Allantra Lewis is a Washington, DC native now residing in North Carolina. Writing her first poem at 5, literary art is where she finds her rhythm. After attending Duke Ellington school of Arts, she realized that play-writing was a passion of hers and would later attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she would obtain her English and Theater degree.
During her time at UNCG, Allantra was blessed with the opportunity to join (and ultimately direct) Well Versed Xpressionz, a non-profit organization founded by OneVoice which was comprised of college-aged artists. Here, she was pushed and crafted into the artist that she is proud of today through interactive workshops, artist-to-artist consulting, and leadership opportunities.
Allantra currently attends Apex School of Theology pursuing a postgraduate degree in Counseling. Allantra's main goal in life is to always "find a seed in her neighbor, love it and flow to it." In addition, she is also a recording artist. Be sure to go have a listen and follow her Soundcloud. ("Black Pocket Psalm" is her latest work and it is beautiful!)

Allantra is a phenomenal literary artist who shares a message of self-awareness, perseverance, commUNITY, and independent spirituality.
